I have a Omron BP652 that is a month old, the problem I have is the pulse reading is always 20 points lower than the reading on a Kardis Mobile that I purchased a week ago. When I sent a chat on their web site the lady sent me to a service agent that wanted to charge me money for the answer and would not respond without a credit card number. Well back for a refund on the Omron that I bought on Amazon

I have this monitor and it is not accurate, I take it to the dr office with me and it is always way off of what the nurses hear 30+ higher than they read. I keep the book beside, check the placement below the wrist bone, make sure legs are not crossed, everything the book says to do, and it is never right.

Taking a blood pressure and pulse reading at home is always lower than going to MD office. It is called white coat syndrome.

What Peggy is saying Mr. Anonymous is that the wrist readings are always higher…. not the readings taken at the Doctors office. I have the same problems with mine. I just came across my omron bp652 (which was in a drawer because it was quite inaccurate), and took my reading sitting on my couch relaxed. It came back 146/101 reading 69 bppm. I immediately used my regular portable Welch Allen for another reading and it came back 124/86 70bpm. You have to have this thing in a perfectly level position above your heart for it to give a reasonably accurate reading, and the last thing someone who experiences anxiety wants to see is repeatedly high readings while they are sitting at home. I like the convenience of it, but I just don’t fully trust it.

The pulse is always 20 points lower that the pulse that is taken with the Kardia Mobile. When I asked a question via chat the lady sent me to a service tech that wanted to charged me money to answer the question and would not respond without a credit card number. Well Omron is going back to Amazon for a refund. Less that 30 days old.

My blood pressure at the Dr. office is usually low, but the Omron BP652 gives me meetings pretty variable (131/83 and 124/66 withing 5 minutes of each other). Seems too large to be real variation.

Waste of money, constant problem with the E5 error, and yes followed the instructions. I threw one away and have tried another one with same issue.

I have three Omron upper arm BP devices and the all give me readings that are higher than the doctor most of the time. I even used one at the doctor’s office and got higher readings.
